CMC Launches night bazar at green path
Night Bazaar - a place for the whole family: "CMC is launching the first Night Bazaar for the citizens of Colombo after the conclusion of the war said CMC Special Commissioner Omar Kamil. The aim of hosting the Night Bazaar is to create an environment where people can come with their children and family members and enjoy themselves without any fear he said.
The Night Bazaar will include all facilities and amusements, including a play area, DJ, shops, video walk, parking space, police post, etc while over 40 shops will be opened during the Night Fiesta including a variety of restaurants, and Trees and the Green Path area will be decorated with illuminations."

Ethihad to launche Budget service to Colombo
Abu Dhabi-based UAE national carrier Etihad’s decision to introduce an ‘all economy’ service in October will provide another flying option to thousands of residents in Qatar.
Etihad yesterday said it would connect Alexandria (Egypt), Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram (India), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Damascus (Syria) besides Doha in the first phase.
Etihad will deploy two Airbus A320s for initial operations under the ‘all economy’ service. It has plans to add eight more Airbus A320s to connect new short haul destinations from Abu Dhabi.
Residents planning to fly to the above destinations in Egypt, India, Sri Lanka and Syria can benefit from low fares, which Etihad’s ‘all economy’ service is offering.'"
